Michael David Murphy, the proprietor of a great site, has had his cameras stolen.  This includes a nice Leica, a Maimya, and a Canon and some lenses.  That sucks.  Big time.  Personally, I’ve learned enough from his site that I would have no qualms whatsoever about donating money to help him get back on his photographic feet.  I’m waiting to see if he posts news on how much coverage his insurance company will give him.

But while we are confined to books, though the most select and classic, and read only particular written languages, which are themselves but dialects and provincial, we are in danger of forgetting the language which all things and events speak without metaphor, which alone is copious and standard.
