Gaussian Blur experimentation
I learned about this technique at Luminous Landscape, which is a fantastic resource. I tried it with a bunch of pictures, and I think my results with these two were the best. This is an effect that I’ve seen in a lot of places, but never really knew how they acheived it. It’s really simple to do and there’s a lot of room for experimentation. Try it if you haven’t already!
